It was done.
I spent only about an hour experimenting with cubes and scripts from the Assests folder in Unity3d and was able to make some small little experiments involving bouncing cubes and selecting them with the mouse and tossing them around. I imported an empty box model into Unity3d with Sketch-Up. The scripting is fairly simple, however Unity3d has some many different inherent variables and functions it will take some time to get a firm hold of. Besides that, I look forward to Thursday. If all goes well, maybe we'll get to test some simple cubes on our bearded friend's iPod Touch?
